Lettering Program
WSFC Varsity Lettering Program
The purpose of this program is to recognize the accomplishments and time commitment of the Watertown Figure Skate Club’s figure skaters with a varsity letter award to those who meet the requirements. Athletic recognition is important. The time demands of figure skating often preclude student participation in much of the regular high school varsity sports programs.
Watertown Figure Skating Club offers the opportunity for club members in grades 7 – 12 to earn a WFSC letter. Skaters are required to complete a set number of hours of skating each season on WFSC home ice to be eligible to letter and re-letter each year.
Skaters are also required to participate in test sessions and other public events to meet lettering requirements.
Interested club members should contact the club lettering coordinator by November 1 to register for the lettering program for the current season.
